26 March is an inspiration for the Bengalese because on this day in 1971 we got our independence through a sea of blood after 9 months bloody war against PAK atrocities. about 30 lakhs people died in the war of liberation. Bangladesh got its name on the world’s map on 26 March 1971. We pay a great tribute to the martyrs on this day.
Though 26 March is our independence day, the seeds of it shown in 1948 when Mohammad Ali Zinnah, the then Governor-General of Pakistan, declared in a public meeting that Urdu would be the only state language of Pakistan. The declaration raised a protest of the storm to the Eastern part and it led to a language movement. Finally, the Easter part of Pakistan got Bangla as their state language and gradually it’s climax turned into a movement which is our liberation war. Bangalees, a brave nation, went back rather fought bravely having no mighty weapon. They had only moral courage and patriotism for which they achieved independence. Every year, March reminds me of that fiery march of history and our glorious independence. If you say these things, then the water will come out. Yet, that is to say, for those who have not witnessed the massacre of 9 years and our glorious great freedom.

Independence Day is, therefore, a history of the promise of liberation to the people of Bangladesh. The nation will celebrate the 49th Great Independence and National Day with a deep respect for the memory of the martyrs who gave their lives in the War of Liberation and pledged to make their dreams come true. It is a sincere honor to inform those of our present independent Bangladesh in exchange for blood, whose sacrifice we have received in an independent state. It is also a great inspiration that we will be united until we achieve our right from any foreign domination. It also tells us that we should stand together to help each other in danger and we will be ready to sacrifice our lives for the country if needs.

At the same time, I have a deep respect for all the freedom fighters and the freedom fighters. I wish you all the best in the era of hard-working people of Bengal, come back again and again on our great Independence Day.
