I always believed that miracles happen by the will of almighty Allah and it happens to those who believe it. 

So, As this is a season of mangoes and me being a fan of this fruit, I was craving for it for a long time. Although I had a few of it in the meantime I was craving for more of it. However, As the ongoing corona period is going on I rarely go out and there is not much availability of mangoes either. As a matter of fact, I was fulfilling my appetite with the mangoes almighty granted me.

So a few days ago, I was going through my Facebook newsfeed as a regular hobby, I stumbled upon a post of an online mango store named Folmool.com. Firstly, I was astonished by the fact that there are online ordering services for fruit in this corona period but what struck me more is the fact that they are offering a free competition of the “Predict and win” contest of a famous football match between La Liga top point leaders Barcelona and one of their greatest rivals Atletico Madrid.

As a football fan and a regular spectator, I did not have to give a second thought about participating, I predicted my score on the comment section which was a (2-2) draw projection. Later I found out I was one of the 3 people among 65 others to predict such score.

Later, that night as the match started I was both excited and scared of what shall the result be. There were many questions coming on my mind that what if I win? Or, what if I lose? Or what if my prediction isn’t even close or what if I predict correct and lose the lottery?

With all these questions on my mind, I kept watching the beautiful game and saw both teams scored and the result stay (1-1) at halftime.

In the second half, the match got more aggressive and Barcelona scored another mindblowing goal and with that 75th minute passed and there were only 15 minutes left on the clock to the end of the match. I almost lost hope that Athletico would not be able to level this score at this point.

However, As I said “Miracles happen to those who believe it” it actually happened and Athletico scored a super goal and leveled and with that, the game ended (2-2) and me being one of the 3 predictors to get the right prediction.

However, there still remained a step to the road to me winning free mangoes, the lottery. I wished I was the only one to predict it correctly but unfortunately two other people shared the same fate as me.

After finishing watching the game I slept with an anxious heart praying to Allah to grant me the win.

As I woke up the next day and opened my newsfeed I was surprised and shocked that my lord answered my wish because I saw a post from folmool.com with a picture of mine with a caption congratulating me for my win.

I was speechless and saw the lottery where I found myself winning among 2 others with a very close call.

Later on, In a week I got my delivery and couldn’t gold my excitement of winning the mangoes, I shared iron my social apps and also shared the mangoes with my family and relatives.

Along with enjoying the mouthwatering mangoes, I prayed to Allah for such blessings and realized we should be content with what almighty blesses us with and enjoy the little things in life. Therefore, something whispered in the back of my mind saying “Miracles happen to those who believe it”.
