I don’t have any idea what people consider  ‘best things in life’. It depends on person to person. To me the best things are the things that mark your heart, create an unforgettable moment, and make you feel like you are living in a dream. Perhaps, a magical reality. I am not exactly a fan of considering costly and luxury items as the best things in life. I like silver drops of rain and that pitter-patter sound.

 I like the rustling of the autumn leaves. I like the smell of grass and shiny dew drops on leaves. I consider them the best things in my life. Well, nature gives joy but doesn’t ask for stacks of dollars instead. I like kindness,  a few soothing and heartwarming words, and a gorgeous smile on a person’s face. Not all the best things need to have a price tag. Kindness is free, love is free and a smile is the fanciest accessory that anyone can wear. I like those birds singing early in the morning. You don’t have to buy tickets for attending their concerts.

 I like hugs, good night kisses, sleeping on my mother’s lap, and hearing lullabies. Avoid daydreaming when I can’t sleep and create a world of my own where there is just peace. I like living in the moment to create memories, notice every breath I take, and memorize the things people say. These are the best things for me. And yes, none of it needs money. No new fancy dresses, big houses, and shiny diamonds attract me. But that sparrow makes me want to smile and feel every drop of blood passing through my veins. So, all I want to say is that all the best things in life are free.

 Unless you are a person considering being rich as the best thing on earth, all the precious things in life shouldn’t cost you a penny.
